Choose the 15.3" if:
- you mostly work at a desk and want room for spreadsheets, documents and several windows at once (2880×1864);
- you do light photo or video editing and like a larger preview;
- you often listen to music or watch films on the laptop speakers — 6 speakers with woofers;
- 1.51 kg doesn't bother you — it is still less than the MacBook Pro 14" (1.55 kg).

512 GB or 1 TB?
- 512 GB is enough for study, office work and browsing if you keep large files in the cloud or on an external drive.
- 1 TB is the choice if you keep photo and video libraries on the computer, have many projects or want headroom for years.
- In the 13.6", the 1 TB version costs 449 zł more than the 512 GB one (6199 zł) in Midnight (6648 zł) and 500 zł more in Starlight (6699 zł).
When to choose the MacBook Pro 14" instead of the Air
The MacBook Pro 14" M5 24/1 TB (9790 zł) has the same M5 chip but adds:
- an XDR display with ProMotion up to 120 Hz and up to 1600 nits in HDR (Air: 500 nits, 60 Hz);
- 3× Thunderbolt 4, HDMI and an SDXC card slot;
- a fan for longer loads and up to 24 h of video battery life;
- 24 GB of RAM and a 1 TB drive.
That is 3142 zł more than the Air 13.6" with 1 TB (Midnight, 6648 zł). Note that the Air M5 has Wi-Fi 7, while the Pro 14" M5 has Wi-Fi 6E. FAQ
Does the 15.3" have a different chip from the 13.6"?
No — both have the M5 with a 10-core CPU and 153 GB/s of memory bandwidth. The difference is in the GPU: the 13.6" has 8 or 10 cores (depending on the configuration), the 15.3" has 10.
Does the 15.3" last longer on battery?
According to Apple, both sizes have the same battery life: up to 18 h of video and up to 15 h of web browsing.
Does the MacBook Air M5 support Apple Intelligence in Polish?
It supports Apple Intelligence, but Polish is not (yet) a supported language. English is, among others.
