Apple unveiled the iPhone Duo on 9 September 2026. Apple's pre-order in Poland starts on 16 October 2026 at 14:00 and sales on 23 October 2026. Apple's prices in Poland:
- 256 GB: 9 999 zł
- 512 GB: 10 999 zł
- 1 TB: 12 999 zł
- 2 TB: 15 999 zł

What the iPhone Duo is
It is a foldable iPhone with two screens: an inner folding 7.6″ OLED (1878×2670) and an outer 5.4″ OLED. Both run at 120 Hz, and brightness reaches 1600 nits in HDR and 3000 nits outdoors. It is powered by the A20 Pro chip, and the body is titanium with Ceramic Shield 2 glass and an IP68 rating.
The inner screen has an under-display camera for FaceTime and video calls, and you unlock the phone with Touch ID in the side button. The iPhone Duo also has a dual battery, and according to Apple, Apple Pencil (USB-C) support is coming later this year. iPhone Duo or 18 Pro Max: pros and cons
Pros (Duo):
- a bigger screen when open: 7.6″ against 6.9″, and a compact phone with a 5.4″ screen when folded,
- a titanium body and just 5.2 mm thickness when open,
- an under-display camera for video calls on the big screen.
Cons (Duo):
- no 4× telephoto: the 2× zoom comes from the main sensor, while the 18 Pro Max has a 48 MP 4× (100 mm) telephoto camera,
- price: 9 999 zł (Apple's price in Poland, 256 GB) against 7600 zł for the 18 Pro Max 256 GB at APPTRADE,
- weight and thickness: 254 g against 249 g, and 11.3 mm folded against 8.75 mm,
- battery and charging: up to 31 hours of video on the inner screen (up to 44 on the outer) against 45 on the 18 Pro Max, and half a charge takes about 20 minutes instead of 15,
- eSIM only: just like our 18 Pro Max, so neither takes a physical card. If you need one, look at the iPhone 17 Pro Max (nano-SIM + eSIM).
Choose the Duo if a big foldable screen matters more to you than zoom. Choose the 18 Pro Max if the 4× telephoto, battery life, faster charging and a lower price matter more.
